Intel snatched up one more company in its software-maker buying spree, agreeing on Wednesday to buy Codeplay Software for an undisclosed sum.

Codeplay is known for development tools around the open source SYCLparallel-programming model, which includes tools, runtimes and execution models so standard C++ code can be adapted for concurrent execution across CPUs, GPUs and other processors.
